About Dr. Aniljith V. G.
Dr. Aniljith V G is a renowned cosmetic & reconstructive surgeon with over 30 years of expertise in reconstructive, cosmetic, and hand surgery. He belonged to the first MBBS batch of Government Medical College, Thrissur, in 1988 and completed his postgraduate training in General Surgery at Government Medical College, Calicut, in 1991. He worked as a trauma and general surgeon at St Jame’s hospital, Chalakudy. After earning MCh degree in Plastic Surgery in 1995, he pursued advanced training in cosmetic surgery at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, hand surgery at Stanley Medical College, and microsurgery at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore.
Since joining Elite Mission Hospital in 1998, Dr. Aniljith V.G. has pioneered procedures such as the hospital’s first free flap reconstruction, finger/hand replantation, and brachial plexus surgeries.
In 2007, he co-founded the Sushrutha Department along with Dr Anto Francis which has become a leading centre for advanced plastic surgical care.
